Thelmo is qualified as an attorney and notary public, after serving his articles of clerkship with P.F. Koep and Co. under Peter Koep.

Thelmo’s focus is on banking and financial law, competition (anti-trust) law, corporate and commercial work High Court litigation, trademarks, patents and construction (infrastructure) law.

Thelmo is a member of the Law Society of Namibia and has served on, inter alia, the High Court Committee, the Human Rights Committee, the Taxation Committee and also as an examiner for the trial examination that candidate attorneys have to pass for admission to the legal profession.  He has been and is closely involved in some of the largest Mergers and Acquisitions in Namibia and also attends to competition (anti-trust) law.
